Get to Know Me!

Hi! My name is Isabelle Hyman. I am a sixteen-year-old sophomore at the Bullis School who loves to play sports, hang out with my friends, and read. I am excited to run alongside my best friends to raise awareness and fundraise for blood cancer. 

Blood cancer has taken a toll on my family and me. Recently my uncle Fred, an important figure and beloved father, son, and husband pased away from cancer. I dedicate my funds to him because even though I was not close to him, I know he significantly impacted my family's life. 
Not only was I inspired by my great uncle to join LLS, but I was also inspired by my neighbor Isabel. Isabel was only so young when she got diagnosed with blood cancer. Luckily, Isabel beat cancer and is living a beautiful cancer-free life. Her story truly inspires me to fight my hardest to raise $5,000
