Griffin's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Hi, my name is Griffin, and i'm a candidate for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Student Visionary of the Year campaign. I'm looking to raise as much money as possible over the next seven weeks. Every dollar raised, makes a difference in this important cause.
About me: I'm a sophmore at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda Maryland, and i've been a part of the school's Model UN team, and have been representing my grade as Class President for the the past year. With this leadership experience, I feel ready to take on this new challenge. Outside of school, I love spendinding time in the mountains skiing, and hanging out with my friends and family.
This year, I’m proud to be dedicating my SVOY campaign to honor my grandmother's memory. Having lost her to blood cancer only fuels my determination to help make a difference through fundraising.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicines that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
I hope you will consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often to see the progress of my campaign, and feel free to spread the word to your friends.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
