​​​​Hi my name is Ava Noone and I am a Junior at Walt Whitman High School. I am honored to be a part of Vikings Fight 4 Cures and I am so excited to be involved in this philanthropy project. I look forward to the opportunity to give back and help others! 

LLS is an impactful organization that not only tirelessly searches for a cure to Leukemia and Lymphoma, but also supports patients living with blood cancer by providing financial support programs, and fighting to make treatments affordable to all. This research and money is not only beneficial for blood cancer specifically but all types of cancer and all families affected by these diseases. I decided to dedicate my time to LLS and SVOY because so many of our loved ones are affected by cancer. For me, my grandmother passed from cancer and my grandfather is currently battling cancer so this cause is very important to me. Everyday we are closer to finding the cure and I am honored to be a part of that process.
