Hi! I'm Sasha Barr, a team member of Team Barons Crush Cancer, participating in the 2023 Student Visionaries of the Year campaign! Over the next 7 weeks, I will be fundraising to support the incredible work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their mission to cure blood cancers.

I am fundraising in honor of my grandpa and close family friend, who both sadly lost their fights to leukemia and lymphoma within the past few years. Knowing these individuals personally and seeing how their diagnosis has affected them and everyone they’re surrounded by has motivated me beyond belief to advocate for leukemia and lymphoma and raise awareness and funds. I believe that I can make a difference not only by supporting people emotionally, but by raising funds to help find better and safer cures for cancer.

My personal goal is to raise $5,000 between January 21st and March 11th. It’s a lofty goal, but I am willing to work hard to reach it. I cannot do it alone; I need your help! There are a few ways you can support my fundraising efforts:
