Hi, I am Rebecca Eigner! 😊 I am currently a sophomore at Bullis and I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks!
About Me: I have been playing tennis 🎾 since I was 10 years old and I play for the Bullis Varsity Team! I have a dog named Daisy who I love talking to on walks. I love to travel and hang out with my friends and family!
I am participating in SVOY because I want to help them fight against blood cancer. LLS Funds' cutting-edge research leads to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients. They Provide free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
LLS-supported treatment also helps patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and is in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
