​​​​​​Hi everyone! I am super excited to participate in the LLS Student Visionaries of the Year campaign this year. 

A little bit about me:

I am a junior at Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac MD. I play field hockey and tennis and love hanging out with friends. 

What you need to know about blood cancers:

About every 3 minutes someone gets the news that they have cancer

The MOST diagnosed cancer is Leukemia

Sadly, 33% of blood cancer patients do not live more then 5 years post-diagnosis

What is LLS?

LLS stands for Leukemia Lymphoma Society. LLS aims to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. 

What do your donations do?

Each donation provides funding for cancer research, patient resources to education and patient and family support. 

WHY am I participating in SVOY?

I am participating in SVOY so one day the statistics listed above will be gone. Seeing how cancer affects the patient and the family and friends surrounding them has inspired me to make a change.

How can you help me reach my goal?

My personal goal is to raise $15,000 on my own. With your help, I think this is possible!
