​​Today more than a million Americans are fighting a daily battle with blood cancers and every minute 4 more people unwillingly joins the fight. I have been given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the battle and help those living with blood cancers. Nine years ago, our grandma Carol was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Scientific advancements have helped so many people battle cancer, including our grandma giving her nine more beautiful years of life. Our grandma conquered her first battle against cancer, where she spent many more years socializing with her friends, caring and loving her family, and being the best grandma to my cousins and I. 

Recently, our grandma lost her 3rd battle due to the intense attack of three different types of cancer: Lymphoma, Leukemia, and Multiple Meloma. Due to this immense loss, I am even more passionate in raising money for LLS in memory of my grandma, who I love and miss dearly!
