Hello and welcome to my fundraising page!

My name is Michayla Eisenberg and I am a junior at the Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia. I am always looking for new opportunities to help out people in need and am so excited to be working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, to help save the lives of people with blood cancers. My goal is to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar counts, so I hope you will join me in my efforts to support LLS by making a donation to my fundraising campaign! 

Personal connections
One person who really motivated me to work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is my mom. She used to help out the Leukemia Lymphoma Society a few years ago. I learned I had a great Aunt who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was a young mother and unfortunately lost her battle with this disease. When I heard about my family’s personal connection to blood cancers, I was even more motivated to partake in and help better the lives of Leukemia and Lymphoma patients. My mom was young when this happened and over the years there have been so many advances in how leukemia is approached and treated that have resulted in increased 5-year survival rates.  I want to help raise funds for LLS so that I can contribute to even more advances in blood cancer medicine so patients can live a higher quality of life and hopefully become cancer free! 

I am super excited to be participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraising efforts, and I hope you can help me and join this fight by making a donation! All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Not only will donations support blood cancer research, but they will also help support patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services!
