Who am I?
Hi! My name is Kyle Magnino and I am part of the Conor Crew 2.0 Team that is excited to help spread awareness and raise money to treat those with Leukemia and Lymphoma.
I am 16 years old Sophomore at St John's College High School in DC where I am a member of the St. John's Cadet Corp and play for the St. John's JV Basketball Team.
My grandmom-Pat Gaegler had a form of blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma and I saw how much it impacted her quality of life and health. I joined the Conors Crew 2.0 to help raise money for my friend's cousin Conor who died at the age of 3 of blood cancer as well and in memory of my grandmom. I want to help raise money to find a CURE!!!!
Please consider contributing to my goal of raising $5,000!!! I want to help the Leukemkia and Lymphoma Society find a cure for ALL Blood Cancers!
Additionally, my team and I are planning a lot of fun events over the next 7 weeks including Superbowl Squares, restaurant fundraisers, and an event and silent auction at The Barking Dog in Bethesda, MD.
Thank you for your SUPPORT!!!!
Kyle
Kyle's Student Visionaries of the Year Washington DC Fundraiser
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
Many people's lives are being affected everyday by blood cancers. I too am someone who has been impacted by losing a loved one, my grandmother Patricia S. Gaegler in March of 2019. I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
