Student Visionaries of the Year Washington DC
Jack Friedrich | Team Conors Crew 2.0
Jack's Student Visionaries of the Year Washington DC Fundraiser

My name is Jack Friedrich and I am a part of Team Conor’s Crew 2.0 to help spread awareness and help treat those with Leukemia and Lymphoma. Our team is named after a boy in our community who passed away with Leukemia at a very young age. Conor Kehoe. I am helping the team because I feel something needs to be done to reduce the negative impact cancer brings onto people’s lives. Everyday somebody is diagnosed with cancer and it feels like there is nothing you can do about it. Until now.
Me and my team are working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma society (LLS), and will be participating in the Student Visionaries of the Year (SVOY) campaign to support LLS's mission of curing blood cancers. SVOY is a 7-week fundraising competition amongst some of the most philanthropic and motivated high school students across the country.
I am asking you for your full support in donating to this campaign in honor of Conor's memory.
For now, please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 21, 2023 and let me know if you have any ideas on how to help me reach my goal of $10,000.
My team and I are planning a lot of fun events over the next 7 weeks including Superbowl Squares, restaurant fundraisers, and an event and silent auction at The Barking Dog in Bethesda, MD.
Thank you for your support!

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

Thank you Jack for your hard work and commitment to raising funds for LLS. Ironically today 2/14/23 is my 21st year cancer free from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was lucky to have such great care through the NIH and doctors, nurses, friends and family (shout out to my daughter Tyler) for being brave alongside me. I cherish those who I met along this journey who have passed. Love and honor for their memory. Thanks again Jack! Maureen

Keep up the good work. Though my family has suffered from other cancers, all need to be funded to get a cure.
