Hi my name is Helen Kelly and I am a Junior at Walt Whitman High School. As a 16 year old I have never been involved in a philanthropy project before and I am looking forward to the opportunity to give back and help others! 

LLS is an impactful organization that not only tirelessly searches for a cure to Leukemia and Lymphoma, but also supports patients living with blood cancer by providing financial support programs, and fighting to make treatments affordable to all. This research and money is not only beneficial for blood cancer specifically but all types of cancer and all families affected by these scary diseases. I have known people who have suffered from various types of cancers, as I assume you have too. From grandparents, to family friends, and classmates anyone can be affected and many sadly lost their fight. 

Everyday we are closer to finding the cure and I am honored to be a part of that process. Thank you for supporting my campaign and together we will put an end to blood cancer for good!
