Andrew's Student Visionaries of the Year Washington DC Fundraiser
Our Mission
Welcome to Andrew Evans' SVOY Fundraising Page!
This year, I'm proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS's mission.
Seven years ago, I lost my Grandfather (Appy) who was a very important role model to me. I felt helpless in supporting him through his illness.
With LLS, I have been given the opportunity to help others by raising money to support the mission of LLS to cure blood cancers.
I am taking up this challenge to honor the memory of Appy.
The Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign is a seven-week initiative in which select high school students like myself from around the country are nominated to participate in a fund raising
competition to benefit LL's mission: to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
LLS has made significant progress but there is still work to do as someone in the US dies from a blood cancer approximately every 9 minutes.
YOU CAN HELP . . . .
Our ultimate goal is to raise $135,000 for cancer research.
ALL donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. With your donation, you are not only supporting LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional
education and community sevices.
TOGETHER WE CAN FIND A CURE
Please join me in supporting my campaign and LLS by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and
treatments to help save lives today.
Please visit my fundraising webpage often and pass along the link to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc who might donate! I recognize I need lots of support to reach
my fundraising goal!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, I thank you for your support!

Andrew's Student Visionaries of the Year Washington DC Fundraiser
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

We are pleased to make this donation to honor the memory of Fred Tasch ("Appy"), and to support the great efforts of The Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign , including our very strong nephew, Andrew Evans, who has dedicated his service this year to this mission.
