Hi and welcome to my page!

I am Lucianna Hansen and I am a senior this year at Loudoun Valley High School.

For my senior project I have decided to join the battle and help those living with cancer. The reason I decided to raise funds for this particular non-profit over other others is because I have seen the overwhelming effects of cancer up close.  Cancer has devastated the lives of members of my family and others close to me. Just these past few weeks, two other close family members were diagnosed with cancer. One of them passed away a week ago. 

Now, more than ever I have realized that life is short and I want to do whatever I can to simply help others if and wherever I can. Thank you for supporting me in this and in other areas of my life.

I believe that The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is making a powerful impact on overcoming cancer and in bettering people's lives.
