This year I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. I am a part of Team SWAG for this year's campaign! Our team goal is $50,000 and every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidates whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?
 
I joined this campaign because I have seen the horrible effects cancer can have on family, friends, and the person affected. My Great Auntie Barbara died from a blood related cancer and while I only met her as a small boy, I have seen the affect it had on my family. My mom ran her first Marathon in honor of her with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I want to do all I can to help find a cure. My personal goal is to raise $5,000 and I cannot do so without your help. I also wanted to join this campaign as a way to improve my communication and leadership skills. LLS's main goal is to not only raise money to find a cure but to educate people on this disease and other cancers. 

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
