Hello and welcome!

My name is Reagan Raffo and I am honored to be participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2022 Students of the Year campaign! As a member of Stone Ridge's Gators Beat Blood Cancer team, our goal is to raise money as much money as possible during the 7 week campaign to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.

I am participating in this campaign because of the effect that Leukemia has had on people in my life, especially my grandmother who beat Leukemia but passed away last year. I want to help raise money so other people who went through the same thing as my grandmother can get better and beat their cancer. Many of you may have personal connections to these diseases, which is why I am asking you to help fight for a cure. Together, we can invest in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer!
