Welcome to my fundraising page! My name is Rijja Noor Akhtar, and I'm a junior at Robinson Secondary School and a proud member of Team Mission Possible in the 2022 Students of the Year Campaign. Our team is composed of 9 brilliant NOVA high schoolers who are dedicated to helping save lives with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Our goal is to raise $45,000 over this 7-week campaign from January 22 to March 12. 

Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

Here are some examples of the wonderful achievements LLS has made:

• LLS funded 43 of the 49 FDA approved treatments for blood cancer patients since 2017 and helped advance 85% of these treatment options
• LLS has provided over $431M in co-pay financial assistance
• Many LLS-supported therapies are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers
• LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies save thousands of lives every day!
