Welcome to Noah Stein's LLS Fundraising Page

Jan 16, 2022

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my page, and for choosing to support me and my efforts to raise as much money as possible for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  I am so excited to be a part of this amazing effort to better cancer research and patient health around the world. In the United States only, there will be about 179,000 cases of blood cancer diagnosed this year. This means 179,000 families will have to suffer the pain that cancer provides to the patients and their loved ones. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is devoted to improving cancer research and performing clinical trials that are saving people's lives every day. Our team is on a mission to raise money for this great organization, and we are all very passionate about this endeavor. It is an honor to be a part of such an amazing group of kids all working towards one goal. Curing Cancer!!! #Fightbloodcancer #SOY4LLS #RamFamforaCure @Ramfamforacure_lls @llsusa @llsnationalcapital

Noah's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Dec 12, 2021

I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.

We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org

My dad was an international jazz musician. He was known around the world for his musical skills. Sadly, he died of pancreatic cancer in 2013. He played with and knew practically every musician in the area and traveled the world playing jazz. He wrote music for PBS and was recognized by former President Bill Clinton. He was a man who took his own advice, who gave every bit of time he could to his music before he died May 4 at age 83 following a long bout with cancer. Sherm played numerous instruments while touring Europe and Mexico. He played with some of the most world-renowned musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie, J.C. Heard, the Ellington Orchestra, Hayes Cavanaugh, Muddy Waters, Ruth Brown, Diane Carroll, local musicians in Flint, Saginaw, Pontiac, Lansing, Detroit, and many more too numerous to mention.
