My name is Molly McDonough and I am a current junior at the Academy of the Holy Cross. I am so excited to share that I have decided to become a student of the year candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I have signed up to save lives with LLS and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks.

MY HONORED HERO:

Personally, I joined this campaign in honor of a close family friend, Jack Karasack, who passed away from brain cancer at the age of 3. Watching Jack suffer motivated me to do everything in my power to spread awareness and raise money to help find a cure. No one should be taken that young from cancer so I want to do anything I can to find a cure and decrease the amount of lives lost to cancer on a regular basis. 
 

Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?
 
ABOUT MY TEAM:

Team Red Elephants is lead by two of my very close friends, Cate Beggy and Maggie Rose. I have seen cancer first hand in Cates life as her dad is a non-Hodgkins lymphoma survivor and her mom is currently battling colon cancer. I decided to join this team not only because I have a personal connection to cancer but also to support Cate. Our team is extra strong and I truly think we can accomplish our goal of raising $100,000 with you're help!
