Thank you for coming to my fundraising page!

I am a team member representing the Fighting Falcons from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland.

I think no matter who we are or what lifestyle we live, we have all in some way been impacted by cancer. Whether a parent, sibling, relative, friend, teacher, etc, we all have felt some branch of struggle and pain caused by cancers. 

Did you know that 80% of cancer medicines and treatment started as blood cancer research? The 4 effective  treatments used for Leukemia and Lymphoma currently were designed for adults. Unfortunately, these treatments can leave blood cancer children treated with detrimental effects on their health later on in life. 

When I heard about this campaign, I felt a responsibility to take on the challenge to give back to my community and to those in need. My personal goal is to raise $5,000 for childhood blood cancer research. I know this is a big goal, but I am certain that we can do it! Please consider donating! Any amount helps!

We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
