Welcome friends and family! Team CUREsaders and I are so excited to share another year with you to help fund the cure for blood cancer! We have worked so hard these past few months and are so excited you are here to share this journey. Last year the DC students of the year campaign raised a national record of $3.3 million! Thanks to your help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) has helped support thousands of patients and their families. LLS has also helped advance and sponsor 13 new cancer treatments in the past three years! 
    Just a little bit about me, I am a junior at Georgetown Visitation. I am a part of the tennis team, BEDA club, Visi4life, and the Personal Finance Club. I participated in SOY last year and my team raised over $100,000 thanks to you, our supporters.It was such an honor to be a part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Students of the Year Campaign last year and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve this year!
    This year I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. However, I can’t do this alone, your support is huge in this campaign! We all win when cancer loses. With your support, our efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers. We are getting closer and closer each day to our goal of a world without blood cancer.
