Hi! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! My name is Javier Fox and I am a junior at Gonzaga College High School. I have joined Team CUREsaders to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). My team and I are working to raise as much money and awareness as possible over the next 7 weeks to further the fight against cancer.
 

Family experience

This issue hits close to home for my family. My grandfather, Manuel Guixens, passed away at the young age of 41 from Lymphoma. He left behind two young girls and my grandmother as a single mother. My mother is a breast cancer survivor and my grandmother is a colon cancer survivor. All of this has encouraged and inspired me to fight for a cure. Cancer is an evil thing; all together we can end it and find a cure! With my partnership with LLS and your generosity, we can all make a difference in finding a cure for ALL cancers.

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
