If you are reading this post, I strongly encourage you to donate to my fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

LLS is the world's largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting blood cancer. The goal of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's is to find a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and Myeloma along with ensuring a high quality of life for patients as well as financial support for the families of those who have been afflicted with the disease. 

If you donate (and I hope you do!) the proceedings will go towards to aforementioned causes. Not only will your donations be used towards the research and development of possible cures, but LLS will also ensure to maintain a certain degree of life quality for the patients and their families.

Every human is indefinitely entitled to a healthy, happy, and fulfilled life. Unfortunately, cancer treatment is very expensive and not all families can afford to pay for said treatments. Oftentimes, the families of sufferers of Leukemia and other blood cancers have to undertake large sums of debt just to ensure that their loved one will be taken care of.

This is where we come in; as members of the LLS Students of the Year campaign, our goal is to raise as much money as possible to easen the life situations of those who have been afflicted with the disease, as well as find cures to end it altogether!

To everyone reading this, I strongly encourage you to donate to the LLS campaign and do research on how you can help out in your local community. Every dollar helps, and all donations are tax-deductible.

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
