Evan's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 18, 2022

I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. I joined LLS because finding a cure for cancer is meaningful to me. Members of both sides of my family have and continue to suffer from different types of cancer. I chose LLS in particular because they are well known and have a proven track record of success when it comes to advocating and raising money to fight against blood cancers. Every dollar raised counts towards my campaign. The candidates whose team tallies the most votes earns the title of Students of the Year. Will you help me and my team earn that title by donating to our cause?

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your help and donations, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from donors has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. This is especially important because LLS not only helps blood cancer patients but people suffering from all sorts of this disease, but it hopes to treat all patients currently living under a cancer diagnosis. Additionally, LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day, showing our progress as an organization.

We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. However a key part of our fundraising efforts are the incredible experiences we have arranged for exclusive access to some inspiring celebrities. For each donation of $1,000 or more, you can have the opportunity to sign up for a face-to-face Zoom session with celebrities like tennis legends Billie Jean King and Andy Roddick, Washington Nationals Manager Davey Martinez, and cooking classes with award-winning chefs Mike Solomonov and Gregory Gourdet. Once we have received your donation, you will get a separate email with a link to sign up for the session of your choice. Each session is limited to only 12 donors, so the earlier you commit, the more likely you can secure your spot.

Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
