Elizabeth's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Hello! I'm Elizabeth Martin and I'm a sophomore at Cohasset High School in Massachusetts. I am so excited to fundraise virtually with my friends in Maryland. I attended the Bullis School for 8 years so I really appreciate the chance to reconnect with my classmates while helping an important cause! I signed up in memory of family members who have dealt with various types of cancers in hopes that this research will improve the lives of future generations.
The Leukemia Lymphoma Soceity funds critical research to advance lifesaving treatments, advocates for policies that protects patients' access to treatments, and provides families with hope, guidance, and support. Since 2017, LLS helped advance more than 85% of FDA approved blood cancer treatment options. Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers.
But there's more to do, because every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. This is why supporting funding towards therapies and treatments that are saving lives is critical. We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
