Hello and welcome to my fundraising page!!!🥳 

My name is Daniella Suarez and I am a junior at the Academy of the Holy Cross! I am so excited to share with you that I've signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

I am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year, and I hope you will help me earn that title!

 My Honored Heros:

I have decided to join the Students of the Year campaign to help LLS with thier life saving mission of putting an end to cancer in honor of my grandpa and grandma. My grandma, Gloria Salazar (pictured on the right), is a breast cancer SURVIVOR!!! My Grandpa, Raul Suarez (pictured on the left), sadly passed away due to a harsh form of bone cancer, which he fought for three years. Although these were not a types of blood cancer, blood cancer research leads to treatment advances for other cancers and serious diseases including bone and breast cancer. I am hoping that one day through fundraising and research we will find a cure to save all types of cancer patients.

By donating to LLS, your support will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

As a global leader in the fight to end cancer, LLS is committed to doing more for blood cancer patients and families than any organization in the world. Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
