Students of the year is a 7 week campaign which runs from January 22nd to March 12th (2022), in which teams led by high school students like me raise funds and awareness that go directly to LLS, in support of their mission to cure blood cancers! 

Helping others has always been important to me, and cancer touches a personal place in my heart due to my grandma. She was a beautiful strong woman who sadly lost her battle to cancer. My goal is to help find a cure so no more people have to fight or lose loved ones to this terrible disease. Please donate to this life changing reasearch and help me make a difference!

As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!

But blood cancer patients aren’t the only benefactors of LLS’s ground breaking research – blood cancer research leads to treatment advances for other cancers and serious diseases – in fact LLS has funded more than 60% of the therapies being used to treat other forms of cancer.
