Thank you for coming to my fundraising page. I am participating in the Student of the Year competition, as a member of the team Raise Hope Together. We are trying to raise the most funds for cancer research and treatment, competing against other students and teams across the country. I am doing this in honor of a very close family friend, Jane. She fought breast cancer for many years, and very sadly passed away. I am hopeful that nobody has to go through what her and her family had to go through. 

Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
 
We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
