Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, our efforts will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
Panthers Against Cancer is a legacy team, representing the Holton-Arms School for girls. This is the team’s fourth year participating in the campaign. Ava Curley and Sofia Fernandez are leading the team as co-candidates and are grateful to have seven dedicated team members supporting the team and the mission. Through this campaign, participants not only exercise leadership abilities but also form strong bonds with their classmates. We are eager to continue raising funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
In addition, LLS has gone above and beyond to support COVID-19. They have donated over five million dollars to COVID-19 relief assistance to help fight against the current pandemic. Any contribution will not only support blood cancer therapies but will also tackle current day issues.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
