Mason's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 23, 2021

Hi, thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page, welcome!

Hey everyone thank you for taking time out of your day to visit my fundraising page. I highly encourage you to join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by donating to my fundraising campaign. By making a donation to my campaign you are helping fund so much, not just treatment for patients, but also education, and research to cure blood cancer. I cant express how much it means to me to be able to be a part of such an important event. — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to the goal of ending blood cancer once and for all.

As some of you may know cancer has had a big impact on my family, in June 2008 my grandma passed away from a rare form of cancer just after she was diagnosed. She was experiencing pain in her shoulders and back so she decided to get it checked out. It turned out that she was suffering from stage 4 cancer and it was too late for any treatment. Unfortunately 6 weeks after that doctors appointment my grandma Grammy passed away. Since then my family and I have been actively fundraising for cancer research in many ways one of the biggest being the Avon Breast Cancer Walk which my mom participated in for many years. When I heard about the oppurtunity to be a part of the Students of the Year campaign I knew I had to do it to help those around the world struggling with blood cancer, and to make Grammy proud.
