Hi, welcome to my fundraising page! My name is Lyndsey Smith, a sophomore at The Bullis School in Potomac, MD. This year I have taken on the challenge of leading a team full of many amazing classmates by being a CO-candidate for my team, Fight 4 a Cure alongside my classmate and longtime friend Sophia Benaim. This year we have a colossal goal of $210,000, but with the help of your support, we are faithful we can achieve it. This disease has unfortunately taken over many people's lives, but with your donation, LLS can make a huge difference in someone's life. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. I greatly appreciate your donation, to me, and more importantly, bringing us closer to our goal of ending blood cancer.

My goal is to raise awareness and money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I learned so much from being on a team last year and wanted to take on the amazing opportunity of leading a team through the amazing next 7 weeks. As I am sure you are aware, everyone has been affected by cancer. I have seen family members struggle with fighting against cancer and lost people very close to me due to this awful, and unfortunately common disease. It is important to raise money for those who have been affected by cancer and especially for those who have and are currently battling cancer of any kind. I am trying to reach my fundraising goal of $40,000 to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
