My name is Jeffrey Sterns and I am a Junior at Annandale High School.  I was invited to be a member of the Student of the Year campaign by my friend Deuce Irvine who is the team captain of the CAVS 4 a Cure.  I play soccer with Deuce, Ryan N. and Josh.  They all go to Woodson High School.

I have had several members of my family be diagnosed with different types of cancer.  We have friends that have had cancer.  The research that the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society does is used for all types of cancer not just blood cancers.  The money we raise not only is helping to find cures and treatments but supports patients and families.
