Hi family and friends! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am beyond excited to be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student of The Year Campaign (SOY), a seven-week initiative in which high school students from around the country are nominated to participate in a fundraising competition to benefit LLS. By donating to LLS, you will support the mission to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families. That is why at LLS we say that beating cancer is in our blood.

I am raising funds in honor of Kelly Brodnik, a member of the Georgetown Visitation community who passed away two years ago, and those who are currently battling or are in remission from a blood cancer. Each dollar counts as a vote and the team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Students of the Year. As a team, our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.

My goal is to raise $10,000 and I can not do that without all of your help! Please visit my fundraising page often and share it with any family or friends who might donate! Together, we have the power, the passion and the resolve to achieve a world without blood cancer.
