Dear Friends and Family,

We are honored to have been accepted as candidates in the 2018 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In the Washington D.C. area, we are competing with 31 other student teams, and the team who raises the most money will be named Students of the Year. Our goal is to raise $60,000 (with a stretch goal of $100,000) and although those are big numbers, we know we can get there with your help! 

We are so happy to be raising funds to find cures for blood cancers, especially since our close family friend Corey survived three battles with cancer before his fourth birthday. He's now a seventh grader in California (cancer-free for 10 years!!) and is a constant inspiration to us. Through our campaign, we also want to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens. 

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
