The Young Hearts:
Catherine McBride (co-candidate)
Welcome and thank you for visiting my page!!
This year, I am honored to have been accepted as a candidate in the 2018 Students of the Year program, a seven-week fundraising effort in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Running under team Young Hearts, my best friend and I will lead a team of 7 other team members from Woodson High School, along with the support of our school's club.
Over the past few years, with my growing invovlment in this case I have been gifted the opportunity to meet and connect with hundreds of other students who share in my passion for philanthropy, those who have been effected by cancer, and smiling strangers whom extend a helping hand out of the goodness of their hearts. The result of my experiences have been an amazing community and the ability to witness the changes my fundraising dollars have made on blood cancer research.
Please consider donating to my page, and see YOUR dollars change the face of cancer. You never know which dollar could be the dollar to cure cancer. If you would like to get more involved in our campaign, please feel free to reach out to me at (571) 748 9684 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you so much for being a hero!!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
