Welcome To My Fundraising Page!
I'm Maggie Ryan and I, along with a group of friends are participating in the LLS Student of the Year Campaign. It officially started and I wanted to see if you were interested in making a donation. My team "MLJ Paving the Way" will be working hard together to reach our goal of $25,000 by March 3rd, as the campaign is from January 11th-March 3rd.
Some of my team members, including me, have been personally affected by Leukemia. We have all been affected by all sorts of cancer. I got involved in this several years ago when one of my father's longtime best friends lost his battle against leukemia. At around the same time, one of my dad's other good Whitman friend's little girl was diagnosed. Fortunately, she won her battle. This was a very hard time for my dad, as he wasn't truly himself and spent many hours and days at the hospital along side his friend. It was hard for me to be around during these emotional times, as it made me want to find a way to help.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well. Any donation, big or small, will help make a difference and help us reach our goal. Donations can be made at: https://events.lls.org/nca/DCSOY2018/mryann. If you have anymore questions, feel free to email me!
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
