I remain so excited to be a part of this campaign and we have a lot of exciting things happening over the next couple of weeks! Come out to the Friends of Sadie Blood Drive at the Woods Community Center on February 11th to not only donate blood but find our team table to donate and find more information! On Monday, February 12th, eat dinner out at the Burke Centre CAVA! Be sure to mention "Team Survivor" at the register to support our campaign. On February 20th, come out to the Burke Chick Fil A for a SPIRIT NIGHT to support our campaign! Be sure to mention "Spirit Night" at the register! These are a few ways to participate other than donating to this site! I am so excited to be working with LLS and everyone on my team and I can not wait or the rest of these couple of weeks! Welcome To My Fundraising Page!!

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!

I have always wanted to get more involved in the cancer awareness community whether it was with LLS or spreading awareness in general. I volunteer with Friends of Sadie at their blood drive every year on Valentine's Day and encourage everyone I know to donate.  I have really gotten to know Sadie and her story and am so happy to have her as a dear friend.

Another favorite event of mine is Dig Pink tournaments across the nation which are volleyball tournaments and games to raise money and awareness for breast cancer reasearch and awareness. I have also donated my hair to cancer patients for the past two years, hopefully three this year and will continue my tradition of donating throughout my years.

I am so excited to be on Team Survivor and learn more about Leukemia and Lymphoma and ways to raise awareness and fight it. I hope you will join me in creating change and pushing for cancer awareness whether it be Leukemia, Lymphoma, Breast Cancer, Children's cancer or more.
