This year, Titans for a Cure is proud to be competing in the National Capital Area Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Students of the Year Campaign. Our team is compised of 11th graders from TC Williams, the only public high school in the city of Alexandria, Virginia. 

The Students of the Year Campaign is a seven-week fundraising competition that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Titans for a Cure will be raising funds for cancer research, as well as competing to make the most money. But money is only part of our effort. We want to bring awareness to our community about the importance of working to cure blood cancers like leukemia -- the most common form of cancer in children. 

LLS has invested more than $1.2 billion dollars into blood cancer research. Since the founding of LLS in 1949, the five-year survival rate for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled. LLS-supported therapies help patients with blood cancer patients, as well as those suffering from other cancers and serious diseases. Too many people thoughout the world are impacted by cancer. With donations from people like you, we can end the threat of blood cancers. 

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. But cash donations are not all we can raise. There are many different avenues to contribute and support our efforts. Please contact Reagan Feld at reagan.s.feld@gmail.com to learn about great opportunities to support our worthy efforts.

The more we get the information out the better our chances are to be successful at raising money and awareness. Our goal is to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers as well as improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
