ONGOING EVENT - CANCER STINKS! Let your neighbors and friends know that you think "Cancer Stinks" by donating to have the "designer" toilet bowl placed in the yard of your choice. It will be left with a note and a challenge to donate themselves and pass the toilet bowl to the next unsuspecting person. You may also purchase "Tidy-Bowl Insurance" if the thought of a toilet (a very eye catching toilet bowl to say the least) in your yard is unbarable. To participate with this fun event please contact us at LOCOoncancer@gmail.co tp set up delivery. Hunter Robinson's SOY Fundraising Page!
The Students of the Year campaign is a seven-week fundraising challenge in which nominated high school students raise funds to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s. LLS is the leader in cancer research and is dedicated to not only finding cures for blood cancer but using their research to discover new treatments and therapy’s.
I have teamed upwith a group of students from Loudoun Valley and Woodgrove High School to form Team “LoCo On Cancer”. Many high school students want a chance to make a difference…We are that group of determined that have found a way. As a group we decided to dedicate our campaign to Sara Willis, a Loudoun Valley senior that lost her 2nd battle with cancer on Thanksgiving Day. Team “LoCo On Cancer” is dedicated to reaching our goal of $50,000.00 in order to fund a childhood cancer research grant in Sarah’s name. YES...that is a big goal but I know that we can do it! My personal goal is $5000.00. Steep I know but I'm willing to work hard to hit that goal! Please join us and our efforts to make a difference in this war on cancer!
