Welcome to Eli Holder's SOY Fundraising Page!
Welcome to Eli Holder's SOY Fundraising Page!
I am so excited to share that I am representing Bethesda Chevy-Chase (BCC) High School as a candidate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2019 Students of the Year campaign. From January 10th through March 2nd of 2019, students across the country will be competing to see who can raise the most funds and awareness for LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers. I am hoping that you can help my team reach our goal of $75,000.
I was only four years old when my dad died of a rare Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. My dad was always motivated to help others and give back to his community. I hope to follow in his footsteps by participating in this fundraising campaign. I am extremely motivated for this specific cause because I know how hard it is to be raised without a dad. I don’t want any other kids to suffer the loss that my brother Reed and I have experienced.
There are a few ways you can support our fundraising efforts:
- Help us secure a corporate sponsorship (Sponsorships start at $2500 and sponsors receive Gala benefits)
- Share this page with your contacts via email or social media
- Donate a silent auction item that can be used for the Grand Finale Gala auction
- Make a personal donation
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org.

Eli: While we’d love to see you win the 2019 Students of the Year campaign - in our minds you’ve already won. You’ve won because you’ve had fantastic role models - your Dad was unmatched except by your Mom - and your entire family (including your wonderful grandparents and your selfless aunt) have led by example. You’ve won - because you absorbed their words and now importantly their actions - and you’ve emulated them. You’ve won because you are trying to have an impact through effort instead of standing by watching or whining. An impressive young man you are - your entire family must be proud! #alreadywon
