Students of the Year Washington DC
Ava Mottaghi | Team Hope
Welcome to Ava Mottaghi's SOY Fundraising Page!
Hi,
My name is Ava Mottaghi and I am a junior at Dominion High school. I am extremely excited to participate in the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initivate where select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am proud to be raising money and awareness for such an amazing cause. Although thankfully neither I or my family have been directely effected by leukemia, I am working alongside my team to make a change for those who struggle with this awful disease. Our mission for Team Hope is to be able to raise money in order to find a cure to blood cancer. We truly are changing the face of blood cancer.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
This is a photo of me at my National Honor Society induction ceremony.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
