Welcome to my fundraising page for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This year, I’m raising money in honor of Oliver Morrel, a courageous, 23-month old boy currently battling a rare and aggressive leukemia called Acute Megakaryoblastic Leukemia (AMKL).

Oliver’s Story
Oliver’s journey began on January 21, when his family noticed concerning symptoms and took him to the pediatrician. What followed was a whirlwind of hospital visits, tests, and finally the devastating diagnosis of AMKL. This rare and difficult-to-treat leukemia has turned their world upside down, and his family is facing an incredibly tough road ahead. I’m dedicating this fundraiser to raise awareness and support for Oliver and others in similar situations.

Why I’m Fundraising for LLS
After hearing about Oliver’s story, I knew I wanted to take action. Joining the LLS Student Visionaries of the Year campaign felt like the right way to help. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is doing amazing work to fund research, offer support for patients, and advocate for better treatments. They are making real progress in the fight against blood cancers by:

• Funding Research: LLS supports cutting-edge research in areas like immunotherapy and personalized medicine.
• Providing Patient Support: LLS offers free, personalized support to families, helping them navigate the challenges of treatment.
• Advocating for Change: LLS pushes for policies that make treatments more accessible and accelerate the development of new therapies.
