Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
In April 2020, my younger brother, Maddox, was diagnosed with leukemia. As you can imagine, our world turned upside down. The uncertainty, fear, and countless hospital visits became our new reality. Maddox, however, faced this adversity with remarkable courage.
His journey has been a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Today, I am overjoyed to share that Maddox has triumphed over leukemia and is now embracing life as any other spirited kid would. This journey has been transformative for our family, and we owe a debt of gratitude to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for their unwavering support.
Throughout Maddox's treatment, LLS has been a beacon of hope. They provided us with invaluable resources, connected us with a supportive community, and funded groundbreaking research that played a crucial role in Maddox's recovery.
I share this not only as a personal story but as an invitation for you to be a part of this impactful journey. Your support can make a difference in the lives of countless families facing similar challenges. Together, we can contribute to the ongoing work of LLS, ensuring that more stories of triumph, like Maddox's, unfold.
If you're looking for a way to make a meaningful impact, consider joining us in supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Your generosity has the power to turn moments of despair into stories of hope.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
- Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
