Hi everyone, my name is Catherine Zulueta and I am a junior in high school. I am on a seven-week mission to fundraise for cancer research. I hope that by joining LLS and their mission to cure blood cancers, I can change the lives of neighbors, friends, and family.

Recently, one of my teammates was diagnosed with cancer. You hear various stories of cancer patients, but the reality of it all does not settle in until someone you are familiar with has been diagnosed with cancer. My friends have not only had cancer- many of my close relatives, such as my grandparents, have been taken by this disease. Though I cannot help those with cancer directly, I can contribute to saving their lives by fundraising to beat cancer and change the future.

I would be extremely grateful if you joined me in this mission. Together, we can change the lives of all ages and better the world. Thank you.
