Friends and Family,

I am turning the BIG 40 in less than a week on May 26, 2019, and am excited to announce that I have accepted a challenge this week to raise $4000 by my 40th on May 26 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

I have a lifetime passion for helping others, especially those who cannot otherwise help themselves.  Blood Cancers can happen to anyone at any age at any time. Cancer does not discriminate and LLS exists solely to help those in desperate need of proper treatment.

Every dollar I raise supports the LLS mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  To date LLS has funded over $1 billion in blood cancer research that has led to a doubling and tripling of survival rates in the last 60 years. Research by the LLS through charitable efforts has created treatments that are effective on other cancers as well, as I truly believe the cure for cancer will be through research funded by our support for the LLS.

We all have been affected by a friend or loved one with cancer and this is our opportunity to be a hero for them and countless others.

I hope you will join me in accepting this challenge.
