We are proud to lead Team Leeman's Heroes in raising critical dollars in honor of a young patient hero, Noah Thompson, who is currently in remission from leukemia. Noah recently finished treatment for high risk pre-b cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. At the time of his diagnosis, his chances of beating cancer were 90%, thanks in part to the hard work and dedication of LLS. Noah feels that parents should never have to hear the words "your child has cancer" and hopes that fundraising programs like Students of the Year will contribute to research that will undo any uncertainty.

Noah's strength through this battle has made him a true hero, and he hopes to inspire others with his story. 

We have been involved with LLS for a couple years through vocal performances at LLS events and volunteering. Through this experience, we have had the opportunity to witness the organization's amazing impact on our community. We have been moved by the generosity and stories of those touched by cancer and want to make a difference in these special people's lives. This cause is very important to us, because our family has lost multiple loved ones to various forms of cancer, including Leukemia. We hope to contribute to a world without cancer.

Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research, but will help provide critical information and support for patients in addition to supporting advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
