Halfway Update
Hello!
Thank you you for visiting my donation site. My fundraiser is going well, but we still have work to do. We are, as of February 14th, at 68% of our $35,000 goal. We’re so close! Would you consider supporting me in reaching my goal? It means so much to me and my team that you are helping us. Thank you so much!!

Welcome to Ally Wrenn's SOY Fundraising Page!
I am honored to be a candidate for the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. My team, Ally's Allies, is raising critical dollars in honor of Amanda Edwards, who is currently battling breast cancer for the third time, and my grandfather, Joseph L. Healy, who died from lung cancer. Each dollar is a vote. The candidate that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money, but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.
When Amanda Edwards, my neighbor and dear friend, asked me to participate in this event, I of course said yes. Amanda is one of the most inspiring, beautiful, kind, and loving people I know. She has become one of my family's closest friends throughout the time that we have known her. However, as stated earlier, Amanda is currently fighting breast cancer for the third time. I would do anything to help her, and with all of the work in cancer treatments that LLS has done, I knew that this was one of the best ways to help her. LLS has doubled, tripled or even quadrupled five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients since the early 1960s. And through their work, LLS has created many new therapies and drugs to help people battling other cancers and serious diseases.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research, but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
