Welcome to Brady Pisciotta's SOY Fundraising Page!
I am honored to participate as a student of the year candidate for the 2020 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am proud to be selected as a candidate and am raising critical dollars in honor of a young patient, Rylie Richards, who is currently in remission from Leukemia. Each dollar is a vote. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.
I am a junior at Pope John Paul II High School in Slidell. I am a member of the varsity football team and baseball team, as well as a member of the National Honor Society. I am honored to be selected to represent my high school in the Student of the Year Campaign and look forward to leading my team, "Jags Hunt For A Cure" to our goal of $50,000 for local patients battling blood cancer. I believe no one, especially an innocent child, should have to battle the life changing affects of cancer.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate! My team has planned a volleyball fundraising event on April 19th. Please join us in for beach volleyball and a day of fun.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!

Watching someone you love pass away from a blood cancer is a heartbreaking experience. The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society is an amazing organization that helps patients and their families with not only monetary assistance but also emotional support. My husband passed away 2004 from Mantle Cell lymphoma after a 3 year battle so this organization is close to my heart. I am praying for continued research to find a cure for this cancer.
