Students of the Year New Orleans
Autumn Grieb | Autumn's Campaign Team
Welcome to My Fundraising Page!
My campaign would not be complete without a worthy team, so I am incredibly greatful for this team of my peers, who are as hardworking, intelligent, and invested in this campaign as I am. My team consists of friends, classmates, family friends, and even family members, and I appreciate the contribution made by each one. Here are some of my team members, and I hope to see my team grow over the course of the campaign!
The Importance of Your Contribution
No amount goes unused at LLS, and your contribution has a meaningful impact regardless of it's size. Whether funding research, supporting patient education, or funding volunteer training, your donation is powerful. Your contribution may be used in the following ways to help fund the fight against blood cancer!
Meet Rylie!
I am fundraising in honor of Rylie Richards. Rylie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic Leukemia while in Kindergarten. She achieved remission after undergoing 2 years of chemotherapy and cranial radiation treatment and is now a vibrant and healthy eighth-grade student at a local school.
Information Concerning SOY and My Campaign
I am honored to participate as a team member for the 2020 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am proud to support my candidate and am raising critical dollars in honor of a young patient hero who is currently battling or is in remission from a blood cancer. Each dollar is a vote. The candidate team that raises the most money at the end of the seven weeks is named Student of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money but also to bring attention to blood cancers like leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children and teens.
Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
Please visit our website often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!

In Honor of the hard work of Autumn's Team. Together you made an amazing accomplishment, raising over $55,000 for the cause of treating and finding a cure for blood cancers. During such a difficult time, you found a way to help others and achieve your goals. You all have made a difference in the lives of others.

In memory of Luna and Julian Levy. Luna was an Unforgettable woman. She was known for her dedication to her family, selflessness, passion, and boundless energy and drive. Julian was giving, devoted to family and friends and brought enjoyment to those who knew and loved him. Together they would bring humor, fun, love and warmth to any gathering they attended. Julian died with Leukemia and I know they would both be very touched by Autumn's hard work to help others with this disease. As my mom would say, I love you Lulu Belle
