Hi, my name is Julia. I am on a mission to raise money for the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of my neighbor Bella who has leukemia and my father who has incurable brian cancer. I want to raise this money so that no one else has to go through what these two and so many others like them have gone through. Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. In fact, it is the #1 diagnosis for children, teens, and young adults. Since 2017, LLS has helped advance over 85% of FDA approved blood cancer treatments. Additionally, 60% of the threrepies approved are now also being used to treat other types of cancer as well. Help me support the great scientists who work tirelessly to find a cure for blood cancer by donating to this fundraising page.

I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks (January 6th - Febuary 26th) . The candidate(s) whose team riases the most money earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. As you know, everyone wins when cancer loses. Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.
 
Many LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS-funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.
