Hello everyone!
I am honored to participate in the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
My impassioned decision to run for Student of the Year with LLS by running a campaign to raise money for blood cancer research powerfully connects me to the honored memory of my mother’s life. As a graduating senior, new opportunities and journeys are coming my way as I proceed onto new chapters in my life, and my mother’s presence in these exciting changes is something I am missing. My campaign, dedicated to her, allows me to feel like she is right there with me in my life’s current milestone.
